I find the statement of not working with an actor just because he thinks of them as lesser person rather harsh. Isn't that getting personal with someone when you should rather be a professional? You don't have to love everybody you work with...and everybody you don't love can't be less of a human being than you either...whatever he said there makes no sense. He's the kind of director who wouldn't give talent a chance purely based off of merit, there's always some biasedness involved.

that sentence annoyed me so much that I did not care reading the rest of the interview but I think he did not use the term less of a human being literally ...giving him the benefit of doubt.

So here it goes-Karan doesn't work with average looking people who are lesser humans than him..So the criteria to star in his film is you have to be a great looker & a brilliant human being..Whoever said you need talent & acting prowess got it all wrong..And thats obviously why he chose Sid, Alia & Varun after all the auditions-cos they are great lookers & brilliant human beings 😕😆
