One word for this movie - " Heartwarming".

I am not a Deepika fan and I saw only Piku, the character in movie. There was no superstar Deepika in any frame. Got to say 👏. She has evolved as an actress. I loved her no makeup look and she speaks with her eyes.

I wish Mousmi Chatterjee was shown a bit more. She and Amrita Singh are two actresses who need to work more.

Irfan and Big B are top notch.

Only one flaw in movie - some may find it slow. But its exactly that movie which I can see anytime, from any point and in any mood and it'll bring smile on my face.
Its type of movie that should make 100 cr so that more such films are made.

Btw I saw Piku last night and LOVED it 😳 Endearing and sweet movie.

Theatre was about 80% packed which is pretty good for my city. Definitely was Deepika's most natural performance. It was so nice to see her hold her own against Mr B and Irrfan. 👏 I also loved her chemistry with Irrfan. Speaking of Irrfan, he was too good. A effortless job in a light hearted role. Mr B was adorable!

I watched the movie yesterday. I might be the only exception but I found the movie to be pretty average. I found it good in bits, the maid scene,the ventilator scene, the cell scene but that's about. I don't know but the movie was so dull to be watched in a theater, hardly anything entertaining. Fun elements were too too less. The knife scene was funny but I found it to be silly. Deepika was good but Amitabh kinda over-did it with the accent. Irrfan was good as well. Honestly, I don't have anything much to say. 😆

ETA: Bg score was the best part of the movie.

Coming to the forum after a long time but I'm very delighted that Piku and the actors are winning everyone's hearts :) So proud of Deepika, Mr. Bachchan, Irfan and Shoojit :) After hearing so much praise, I don't even care if this movie is a BO success or not (though I really hope it is) because it has definitely delivered and wowed the audience :)

And WOW! The DP fan in me is so freaking happy and proud with everyone saying that this is DP's most effortless and THE BEST performance of her career! She has truly evolved as an actress! Kudos to her for holding her own in front of actors like ABsir and Irfan :)

Sadly, I won't be able to watch it until next weekend because of finals but I'm so damn excited :P

Finally I saw the movie which I have been eagerly waiting for .Not because I have loved all the movies made by Sujit Sarkar .Not because of brilliant actors like Big B and Irfan. But was waiting for the movie where I can see DP in full form .A movie which will define her career in a different way. I am completely satisfied. This is indeed her film, she proved she is not here just for glamour .She proved hard work can bring you where you want to reach . She is that good .
