LOL. I remember I was obsessed with ARK in A2. Let's see how far this movie manages to take him.

Acting truly is a unique job. Shooting bang bang scenes for hours and then going back home to your respective others. 😆

Still looking forward to the film but I think the book's original simple and powerful ending has so much more impact, Pip-Estella is about unrequited love for the most part,and maybe the hope of something after all. True. Estella was always cold and never shared Pip's feeling in the slightest. That had a huge influence on Pip's life and for a great part shaped it the was it was.

As you said it is about hope, hope that he will have something with Estella somewhere. How Pip after all he went through couldn't stop loving her. And when they met, it was so powerful. For Pip it was finally the completion of his tedious, painful journey and for Estella a chance at something she lost, something she deep down always craved for but lost it in her foolishness.

They are going to ruin the beauty of the book this way. The kiss was fine at the end but this is too much.

Or maybe it is just a dream on Pip's part. Because he does dream a lot about Estella in the book.😆 It hope this is what it is otherwise the essence of what made Pip and Estella so special will be lost.
