If they arent convincing enough in their act , they are bad actors , box office pull is a different matter ..and I have no doubt in my mind that Vidya & Tabu can pull off comedy convincingly irrespective of the commercial success of their act ..the same cannot be said about Aish .. she just lacks something very essential to pull off comedy .. and so , she is not as much of a talented actor as some people say she is..if there is a popular perception that Aish is really not that great of an actor , i totally stand by it since its totally justified IMO..

BTW , Aish attempted comedy thrice hum kissise kam nahin , action replay & pink panther too ... try watching her in any of these films or any other selective comedy scenes from her films , you ll see what i mean ..

I hold Sridevi in high regard as an actor but she has also had quite a few cringeworthy performances in comedies. Comedy is not all about the actor. A lot of things have to fall into place. Pink Panther 2? Really? She did not have any comedy to do there - so was playing this sophisticated, elegant lady and she did that well. Also in HKSKN, she was more of a damsel in distress and hardly had anything 'funny' to do. Action Replayy was one film where she had the opportunity but she was let down by the film, yet quite a lot of reviewers thought she was the best thing about the film.

Ok , OC all i see now is 'excuses ,excuses' ..😆..Aish did not perform in ActionReplay because the film was bad , this sounds like a parent justifying the wrongdoings of their beloved spoiled child..😆.. Mr & Mrs Dursley and their son Dudley from harry potter series comes to my mind..😆..its hard to reason like this so i ll just leave it at that ..

You dont think elegant/sophisticated female characters have any scope for comedy ?.. pink panther was a comedy film , in such films whenever sophisticated heartthrobs enter , they still have their own comic part to play, sadly Aish was anything but funny even in the very last scene which was supposed to be funny ..

i rest my case , no point in going around circles here.. lets just say you have your own opinion , i have mine .. peace..😆

Yes Juhi!! My God she's such an under rated actress like Urmila!!! She's a bloody good actress & no-one can trump her in the hardest roles that are comedy. Comedy is the hardest darn thing to do. To make people laugh is immensely difficult esp when it's scripted. And it is strange b/c Juhi doesn't seem to have natural humour & razor sharp wit like brill comedic actors like Riteish, B Jr, Saif, Arshad Warsi & Govinda, of course. She comes off as innocent, way too nice & saccharine sweet so she's clearly very very talented.

Sridevi is another amazing comedic actress. But then Sri is amazing at pretty much everything she does on-screen.
