No doubt Freida is annoying , but she is saying the truth. People in or even of India living overseas sometimes pay so much attention to the color of skin, it rediculous. White = beauty, its deeply rooted that sometimes even without knowing they discriminate.

Even though it's true that people do discriminate when it comes to skin tone, I do not agree with her statement that she's been rejected because of her skin tone. Because most of the successful b-town actress without the excessive make-up are dark!

Why does she think she doesn't look Indian enough? Why does Nimrit think she doesn't look Indian enough? The moment you work in Hollywood, is it mandatory to chant this line irrespective of how ridiculous it sounds? 😆

Even if many have preference for certain skin tone it does not mean an actress gets rejected solely due to her skin colour.

Smita Patil, Kajol, Rani, PC, DPad, Bipasha, Chitrangada, Nandita none are fair and lovely types but they carved their own niche.

There are many fair skinned ones who had come to Bollywood hoping to be the next Katrina Kaif but they all flopped.

Talent, screen presence, charisma etc are among many factors that determine an actor's selection and how far she goes in her career.

Merely bashing country and industry for own lack of talent is not going to help her get work.

She is saying the truth.

Indians represent brown skin, no one is white here, still obessed with white skin.

So right about the scooter, how many women in india still work after marriage ? Only in capitals.
