Virat's personal life has been attacked twice now...and in both cases none of his team mates came out to defend him. They all saw that a young woman was being disrespected for their mistakes as a team. But no one of them ever said anything to support Virat. If it had been any of their wives going through this they would understand. So when virat said he has been the most consistent player in last 5 years n helped in most wins...his colleagues deserve this for not being man enough n supporting their team mate.

Why would his team mates defend Anushka and him? They got to return home blame free. 😡 It takes a real man with courage to slam the media and haters like VK did. He is the only one who has the guts to do that. 👏 And yeah, they deserve what he said but he didn't mean it that way, Its pretty obvious he was trying to make a point that people have forgotten the times he won matches for the team due to this 1 failure. He seemed quite sad when he said that.

^Yeah they got to come home unscathed while the best player has been hurt n from the looks of it will need alot of love n care n time to recover from this trauma. He looked extremely sad in that 2 minute clip😭 I hope he comes back stronger and harder...he should take to the AB devillers level now...and officially become best player in the world👏

Well I think when people go after a loved one due to one of ur own failures it is a case where them attacking where it would hurt him the most..

I don't think many even cared to read that he said - 'Anushka was blamed for our (team's) loss and my failure'
If this man was arrogant as claimed by many due to his pointing out how consistent he has been.. he wouldn't have minced words calling it the 'team's failure' at all.. but he didn't.. he called it as his own failure for which she was attacked.. and that hurt!

And honestly I think he is maturing as a person too.. the way he is handling this situation is so much more dignified and refined than earlier..
Even for the last time journalist, he apologized when he realized he had blamed the wrong guy.


Anyway he is an amazing life partner is what I can tell.. He never spoke about their relationship as he is a very private person. But he finally took her name and spoke because he wanted to stop people from thinking that they can walk all over the feelings of anu's and their families..
I truly admire this protective nature of his..
