I was taught not to touch others or allow others to touch me unnecessarily and inappropriately. And I was taught to share everything with my parents.

There are basic ground rules every child has to be taught whether or not, you tell him/her about sex per se.

And adults have duty too. How can parents be this irresponsible that they taught her nothing, built not enough trust so she could confide in them and weren't even around to keep an eye on her?

It is a parent's and guardian's failure if they don't teach child anything, don't build trust, don't know what child is up to and don't lay ground rules.

Oh and shame on those creeps who don't even spare a child in their uncontrollable lust. 🤢

well Let's see from this perspective.somebody misbehaved with me once when i was five. At tat time I didn't know about this being a abuse case. I was very shy child. never used to talk much. so obviously i didn't tell this. i never forgot tat. at the age of 21 when i got to know about stuff i realised wat tat was. I didn't tell my parents- it doesn't mean my parents are bad or inattentive. They are one of the best parents one can get. But still it's difficult for me to talk. It's my weakness not my parents. that incident happened 21 years before. No one knows. But it doesn't mean tat my family is bad or they have left me or they dont know how to communicate with me. For abuse to be told something counselling or something else is needed. My family dont even suspect tat i m a victim. Blaming parents for this is just nonsense. They just think tat their children are safe specially when it comes to village background becoz there every padosi is Chacha or tau or bhai.

IMO sex education is not required! basic teachings from parents is enough for a child like how to protect themselves from strangers and say NO to certain things...and I think kids can sense too the touch whether it is a warm touch or something else...just my thoughts..

P.S.. I have a strict no MID rule .. 😆 ..its best left to those who spend their lives living & trolling on internet , not my cup of tea .. 😆 ..if i indulge in name calling , i am upfront about it ..i dont need MIDs to do my dirty work .. 😆
