Kashyap: wow what strong reactions to BV trailer, fun begins - Page 7

Yea, he's cocky, but has the right to as nothing came easy for him. His first two films were banned and he made a masterpiece like Gulaal when they could only afford to shoot with Diwali lights for 8 years.

I liked the trailer and think film will live upto expectations. Kashyap has worked on this script for almost a decade so screenplay should have decent standard at least. Besides, they showed one sec shots in the latter part of the trailer. Hard to figure out anything from that. Even Kay Kay was shown in a single shot and he's such a brilliant actor who's doing an important role. Only thing they revealed properly was Balraj-Rosie equation in first half.

Yeah am glad he atleast acknowledged it..Honestly i have zilch expectations at this point..So i'l be pleasantly surprised even if the film is half decent..And at this point, i just don care..Its been so long since i saw Ranbir on the big screen..So am ready to sit through anything 😆

I agree. People call him cocky, pesudo and everything but there was a point when some of his brilliant works wouldn't even release. Even Gulaal got a release date after DevD was a success at the box office. They go through so much to make a movie and then release it. Even Nawazuddin Siddiqui was recognized after GoW. He had the audacity to cast him as a lead. So, now when I see him going all buddy-buddy with KJo..I'm like Uggghhh! But amidst all this stuff, he introduced many talented directors/actors and gave some nice movies, which were a refreshing change from then regular stuff.

ETA: I do know that his personal life is so off-putting and all that, but sometimes, when it comes to movies... I really don't care. 😆

Likely since Kashyap kills the protagonist in such flicks. 😆I saw Balraj reading a newspaper headline "Fugitive" with presumably his photo and KK is an investigative officer. There are so many dots to fill and I don't think trailer has shown anything major regarding that part. It mainly focused on RK-Anu and I loved their chemistry.

I'm speaking about the general response of the crowd, when a trailer or a song comes out. During Badlapur the overall response was pretty positive. That's what I meant. Anyway, as I already told, This forum is an extremely small section of audience. It might not reflect the larger picture so you never know. 😃
