I think its good that he acknowledged trailer got extreme reactions and is taking the responsibility to deliver the final product that would satisfy people's expectations. He could have just highlighted positive reports and ignored other reactions as well like most filmmakers do.
Yea, he's cocky, but has the right to as nothing came easy for him. His first two films were banned and he made a masterpiece like Gulaal when they could only afford to shoot with Diwali lights for 8 years.I liked the trailer and think film will live upto expectations. Kashyap has worked on this script for almost a decade so screenplay should have decent standard at least. Besides, they showed one sec shots in the latter part of the trailer. Hard to figure out anything from that. Even Kay Kay was shown in a single shot and he's such a brilliant actor who's doing an important role. Only thing they revealed properly was Balraj-Rosie equation in first half.
