NH 10 Shows Decent Upturn On Saturday

Box Office India Trade Network

NH 10 has shown decent growth on saturday in the 40-50% range with the business likely to come in at around 4.50-4.75 crore nett. The film is heading for a 13 crore nett weekend which will be decent especially looking at the low opening.

The film is not happening in the mass markets as it was limited growth from low levels but Delhi/UP, East Punjab, Mumbai and Mysore have shown good gains on Saturday.

The advantage the film has is an no major competition in the enxt two weeks but will need a strong Monday to take advantage of those two weeks

It is good for a woman oriented movie and no big stars.

seriously i think it doesnt matter where she ends up at the end of the year no1 or 10...everyone is calling her a brilliant actor which is a tag much harder to achieve for an actress in bollywood. She is getting unanimous praise n it must be an amazing feeling for her coz she has carried the whole film.

Now I can't wait to see what she has done in BV! Ranbir + anushka..it's gonna be killer acting combo😉

Of course it doesn't matter. I kept appreciating her as an actor even though she wasn't appearing much for almost 2 years. But little more recognition of her talent is what I meant by saying I hope she'll be number one. 😊

NH10 Picks Up Decently On Day 2 (1st Saturday) At The Box Office

After having a good opening of 3.35 crores, Anushka Sharma starrer NH10 picked up decently on Day 2. As per early estimates, the film has made a business of around 4.75 crores on its 1st Saturday at the Domestic Box Office. NH10s 2 days nett India total now stands at 8.10 crores approx, which is truly commendable.

Due to the India vs Zimbabwe World Cup cricket match, NH10 had little scope to earn moolah in the morning shows. Nevertheless, since Saturday and Sunday's business tends to see a jump in the evening, NH10 managed to show significant growth noon onwards.

The positive mouth publicity has helped to film to soar at the Box Office. NH10 is now heading for atleast a 13 crores opening weekend number.

Good news for Anushka fans. the theater here was packed for the 7pm showing. surprised i was. i had to sit front row..i left the house late thinking nobody will show up. so yeah...its good to see ppl are coming to see movies where the leading lady is the hero.

dheere dheere hi sahi...but change should happen.

the movie.

horrifying, chilling , yet a thrilling experience mann. can't get as raw as this.

good writing, great direction, well executed action, brilliant acting, haunting music.

best thing about movie...everything looked real. nothing fake or just added for the sake of it. and that village gave me chills.

minor flaws, here and there, otherwise solid outing!

Anushka...i want to repeat what Anupma Chopra said in her review: not one false note from anu, that's how good she is.

constantly in news for her paratha face to duck lips...but who knew that this paratha face and duck lips talk will soon overshadowed by some real acting...and we all know that's what really counts.

i knew she was capable of surprising all one day..but never thought that the surprise will be this big. she looks absolute gorgeous in opening few scenes. matured and classy. and when she gets into trouble , boy..watch each expressions, body language, each move. the way she pulled all together, it looked real and she a smart cookie. she has raised the bar high...i cannot wait for her bv to arrive.

she got lots of seetis and taalis when screamed...f**k you . i was on my feet... hah...i loved how in the end she light up a cigarette with a iron rod by her side, watching that devil suffering! btw..that devil Darshan is solid here. he ain't no saint like in Mary Kom. good job!

This movie is not for everyone, gets pretty gruesome at times! I heard its a rip off Eden Lake, which i haven't seen, but good for me, cos i enjoyed this thoroughly. now i will check out Eden Lake.😛 and maybe bang my head, so be it. as fro now...loved Navdeeps NH10!

NH10 Saturday (2nd Day) and Friday (1st Day) Box Office Collections

NH10 has managed to collect decent numbers on 1st Day Friday and 2nd Day Saturday at the box office. The 2 Day Total collections stand at 8.1 cr. The film is looking at a first weekend of 13 cr range and a good Monday can still keep the hopes alive regarding box office success.

The film is entirely dependent on Indian Theatrical Business as other revenues are negligible for a film like this. The film needs 40 cr theatrically for becoming a HIT which is a very tough task considering the opening day numbers. The film needs to run for three weeks at least to come close to recovery. Few weeks, a similar film Badlapur released and while it had a good first week, it dropped considerably in second week. The budget of NH10 is quite close to Badlapur although it should have been much lower considering the star cast.

The film has got positive word of mouth and there are no major crickets matched till 18th March (India v/s Bangladesh) so the film won't be affected much by the ongoing cricket world cup.
