NO.. Dhanush's favourite co-star is actually Nayantara.. he's too fond of her and is very good friends with her ... and Persoally he is very good friends with Shruti and Sonam ...

3 , as a film on a whole is beautiful, poignant and is more like a tribute to love, and ofcourse Dhanush and Shruti had some amazing chemistry there .. its just shruti's individual performance was somewhat not that impressive ...

r u serious ? Girls doing daangamari ? that day i was telling a friend of mine that Dhanush hardly has male fans, only because he has this charm to impress girls, infact he also has a very good voice ...😳

yeah, infact there was a phase , that he kept doing all the dramatic and award winning film, infact he gave mayakkam enna, adukalam, 3, Raanjhana and maryan in a row and none of them were commercial entertainers and each of them fetched him awards also ... VIP and Anegan is just a shut up call for the haters, all the mindless fans of mindless masala films can shut up now and anyways i dont think so that apart from kamal hassan and Vikram, any other actor has been so much respected for his acting other than Dhanush in the recent times, and even in case of Vikram, he could not become a huge star unlike Dhanush has become

r u serious ? he did that remake in 2008 i guess, and polladavan its just the title, infact polladavan is his career's one of the biggest blockbusters ...this still makes me laugh, i mean comparing him with kamal hassan is atleast justified from their potential graph but Rajni ? 😆

My favorite movie of dhanush is Pudupettai . Cult classic movie . I am watching it for last 10 years lol.

Dhanush & Selvaraghavan has given all cult classics together .. all 3 , be it kadal konden, mayakkam enna or pudhupettai, have been gems .. and even i ha read that selva helped aishwarya with 3 ..

i so wanted to watch pudhupettai, but never got a link with subtitles.

its not selvaraghavan + dhanush . All selvaraghavan movies are cult classics . Aishwarya was a selvaraghavan's AD in film Ayarithil oruvan . Yes she inspired by selvaraghavan style of direction . There were so many scenes i can say in 3 the classic one was he killed the dog then started searching for it .

Actually, yes most of the selvaraghavan films are cult classics, but not ALL .. infact his last film irandam ulagam was a debacle and not even critical success .. Its just when Dhanush is the protagonist of Selva films, the whole aura and the aftermath is a bit more celebrated, because apart from being brothers, they bring out the best from each other ...

yes Aishwarya was selva's assistant, and it did benefit her... and 3 has many classic scenes, as u said the dog killing scene, Dhanush was so good in it, esp the searching part ... Another scene from 3 which happens to be my favourite is just before the climax, when Ram goes to janani and cries silently, that was such a beauty ... i have never seen a 10 minute long climax, with zero dialogues, with just bg score and the actor performing... if 3 stands out to be a cult film, then the execution of the climax plays a big role ... it was outstanding

@harshu vikram & surya are both equally talented .Surya is more famous than vikram and he isgreat actor & hard worker just like vikram .

regarding irandam ulagam its a cult classic movie for me May be for the peoples who understand the movie .

Irandam ulagam is not a great love story but its a story about great "love". there are so many valuable reasons for its failure and also the way selvaraghavan made it (removing many commercial elements ).he wants to prove the point that, story is so important than anything to many spineless directors, who make mindless stupid comedy/masala/formula movies or the others who hide behind big stars .

Everyone wants to pull him down . they got a chance.

Anyway it will take few decades for others to make something like this movie in kollywood .
