He's referring to the beef ban in Maharashtra. He's right that it's not the government's business what people eat or say. These are basic freedoms that are being trampled on.

Being threatened with jail time for cracking some jokes? Fines and jail time for eating beef? If they keep this up, it won't be long before they turn into a land of psychos like the Middle East.
