Why Indians love Katrina Kaif more than Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone is the number one heroine of Bollywood and has been reigning the film industry from the past three years, yet Katrina Kaif remains the most searched actor on internet.

Despite the fact that Katrina Kaif remains elusive on social media (she does not even have a Twitter account) and has not been very lucky with her films in the recent past, yet her popularity among her fans ceases to wane.

So what may be the reason behind this never dying love? Let's make a guess.

Her firang appeal
The fascination to touch a foreigner, make friends with them or even just stare at them is what so many Indians are known for. We all know the way everyone reacts to the presence of firangs. It's awe and admiration, mostly. So when a videshi mem wears a saree and dances in skimpy lehenga choli, no wonder she sets the imagination of an entire nation on fire.

Handling relationships
We are not sure whether it has acted in her favour, Katrina Kaif, unlike Deepika has remained quiet about her relationships. She never made public the reasons of her break up with Salman (unlike Deepika who poured venom against Ranbir Kapoor on chat shows and proposed gifting him a condom) and is equally silent about her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor. Deepika Padukone's relationships with Siddhartha Mallya, Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh are too much of public news and perhaps have reflected upon her negatively to some extent.
