She's been compared to everyone from Madhuri to Katrina on this forum and mostly won all of the polls. Some have said that she's better than Aishwarya, Katrina, Kareena, Kajol, Madhuri and Tabu (i did read that somewhere on here)

So i thought id open this topic and "directly" ask everyone - straight up do you guys think she is overrated? Does she really deserve this attention? Or do you feel her PR, media and KJO are forcibly shoving her down everyones throat?

Please note that this poll is not referring to the future or anything but as of now...from 2012-2015 and the work Alia has done do you think she is overrated or do you think she really is the iconic trailblazer that her fans claim she is?

hmm difficult to say...her acting skills are very good so i wouldn't say overrated i think she may be a little overexposed so people think she's overrated...sometimes i think she may peak too soon

Last month kya I remember voting for her last week , in one of the polls made by TM...I think it was Alia Vs. DP and Alia Vs. Madhuri 😆

No. I don't think so. She's a great actress and I don't even think she's over exposed. She is however the happening thing right now. 2014 was a great year for her so the media always looks for an excuse to write something about her.

Overrated on this forum, maybe. But still, she's not lacking in popularity or talent. That may be Ileana. 😆

Alia's not as popular as Katrina, nor as good as of an actor like Madhuri. But I do think she has great potential. She was superb in Highway (minus some portions), and I think she's here to stay.

All these comparisons you've stated, I have seen the same for Katrina on this forum. Her fans claim Katrina is a better dancer and actor than Aish and Madhuri and a better actor than PC too. After that nothing seems as preposterous in comparison and Alia praise seems much closer to home than Kat better than everyone proclamations will ever be.
