You know what, I agree with you here. I think he's keeping mum because he doesn't want it to affect his box office future. Personally I think all this will be a memory by the time he has a release. He also doesn't want to piss off Ashok Pandit who is the head of the censor board.

It's basically like Varun going from being game for a roast to saying he doesn't want to comment on it at all because he has a movie coming out.

All said and done. In the end I guess Karan Johar has established himself as the Miley Cyrus of India. Going to prove that after being Hannah Montana, you cannot go ride naked on a wrecking ball. Now his sexual position is the Indian equivalent to Miley Cyrus tongue. I guess that makes Ranveer Singh as the Indian Robin Thicke except instead of underage girls he is running after overage girls "I know you want it".

While I agree with everything else you've said in this topic about Karan I don't think I can agree with this specific analogy. I feel like Miley's break from Hannah Montana was more gradual though the dance with Thicke was the big thing that sealed it. Karan took a big plunge, albeit in a pre-planned and pre-announced setting with ample age and content warning. But minor detail right?
