So I watched it. I'll admit, a lot of the jokes were repetitive, and I was offended at a couple of the jokes. However, I thought it was a great way of pushing the boundaries for Indian comedy. I've watched Pam's and Charlie's roast, and honestly, those were far worse and vulgar. I'm not saying it was the best comedy show I've watched, but it gave me a good laugh, so there.

What is pissing me off, is the way people are reacting to it. Firstly, there was a clear disclaimer that this was for adults, and it would be VERY offensive. Heck, even KJo admitted that it'd be offensive, and those who can't take it, should leave (or you know, turn it off). Also, what's with people getting defensive about the jokes cracked? Seriously, if the panelists, KJo, Ranveer and Arjun had no issues with the insults, who're we to care? Also, if you're bothered about such stuff destroying our culture and all that jazz, you've never spoken to the youth of today. Not saying that every sentence of theirs is peppered with cusses and MCs and BCs, but no one's an angel. Seriously, there are more pertinent issues in India. Why can't we focus on those, instead of a show where adults consented to be insulted?

Thank god. I know a lot of moderate Muslims that actually supported the act. Isn't that some crazy bullshit on their part?

Why did AIB take down their video? They said no one forced them too. By doing that it seems like they think they did something wrong. I guess scared they'll get dragged to court.

There is a big difference between a strongly worded opinion column or petition and an FIR. The former expresses dissent with people's choices, the latter denies people their choices.

I haven't seen the show but been reading some comments.

I think there are faaarrr more offensive things than a comedy show throwing insults at people or discussing sexual positions. And it is an adult comedy show so really if you don't like it don't watch it. And if you do watch it, you can have your opinion on it and then move on. That doesn't mean the show needs to be shut down! If many people dislike it and nobody watches the show, eventually the show will end. All this hoopla is just ridiculous.

Freedom of speech!!! They should never go to court over some jokes!!! Maybe the problem lies with the Indian legal system for making it so easy to file complaints and cases against everyone. But regardless, filing a complaint and asking for inquiry and investigation over some jokes goes against freedom of speech.

The problem is not that other people are criticizing the show or AIB. The problem is that there is a threat of legal action, in the world's largest democracy.

That is what i am saying...atleast they are not going shooting these AIB people...they are using the legal channel...they have their rights as a citizen to complain if they don't approve of something ...why should their rights be denied to them...If at all it goes in court (which I don't think will happen,,,it will be dismissed before that)...don't u think that the courts will listen to BOTH THE SIDES??? On one hand if u talk about freedom of speech...freedom of rights ...then let them do what they want...If its unjust the courts will deny it...
