Are kareena and shahid actually gonna do scenes together?
o.O they didnt even shot that one song of milengey milengey together but maybe now they r in a more comfortable space.
Kareena was so in love with this guy once.

Are you asking me where I read that it was a remake of Traffic? I honestly don't remember exactly. It was within the last few weeks though. I think it was one of the articles claiming Fawad Khan as having been cast in the film.

Someone mentioned above that it is not exactly a remake but rather inspired by. So I don't know what this means for the characters. I will be very surprised if Kareena and Shahid share any scenes.

Hayyy.!!!. now kareena grandmaa is only left to play aunties/sideroles to alia/shahid etc.

More than anything I am worried for the audience. Kareena grandmaa is a atrociously poor actress. Cannot act to save her life!

i was thinking the same that it's probably inspired by traffic and placed in punjab instead of california

the ensemble cast not interacting makes you think of traffic immediately

but i loved traffic so wouldn't mind this

shahid is probably playing the ryan phillipe role, both look too young for their ages, especially ryan

Kareena and Shahid share no scenes together. Shahid and Alia shoot for the movie from mid feb till the end of March. Kareena shoots for it in May.

Ryan Philipe was in Crash. You mean Topher Grace? Yea could be. I'm sure they'll change things around since Topher Grace didn't have a really big role. Traffic truly was an ensemble cast. You are right, Udta Punjab is probably more inspired than remake.

I think Alia starts shooting in February. She tweeted last week that she's already started the prep work for it. Shahid should start Farzi soon and he's scheduled to start UP in March, which could also mean end of March.
