Didn't Priyanka get a national awrd for Fashion? Isnt that more than enough? That's the highest award right? So why are her fans acting like she hasn't been awarded anything and has been robbed?

Horrible with the amount of make up she had on her face.

Padma award comes rather easily to Bollywood stars of late. Otherwise it was an honour which was earned only after years of proven excellence in one's field.

I do not agree with Padma Sri for PC and Bebo. Neither Saif Ali Khan. Or Akshay Kumar.

Even Kajol got it too soon. I mean Sridevi and Madhuri got it so late.

Achievements should be impactful and one's excellence should be sustained to be eligible for this award IMO.

Aishwarya was given this award probably because she has been India's most popular face abroad. Her win as Miss World and other wins as Most Beautiful woman boosted beauty industry in India. Though frankly speaking she too got it too soon and was never a top BO draw or consistently excellent actress.

I feel in previous years awards were too populist. Excessive awards doled out for Bollywood. And that too younger stars instead of seniors.

I can agree with Padma award for someone like Tabu or Shabana Azmi or Sri and Mads but not PC or Bebo.
