Times have changed. Audience demands have changed. Story lines have changed. Basically the era of good scripts is long gone. No one really gives quality films anymore - its not just SRK films.

a) He is not that good of an actor as he is made out to be. People(mostly his fans) tend to put him as one of of best and most amazing actors in BW. Tthe fact is he is not even close.

Just about good at his very best. Thats a huge part of why he doenst do different stuff from the crap he has been dishing out.

b) Absolutely horrible script sense.Some of the worst movies of the last decade belong to him.(Ra One, HNY, JTHJ etc). Even Salman has done better post 2010, and that says a lot.

c) Stardom has gone to his head. He lives in a buble where he thinks whatever he does will be great becuase its him doing it, people will lap it up no matter what.

d) He limited to a couple of genres. Romance dominates followed by drama and masala. That automatically cuts down a lot other possibilities.

He cant do a comedy, thriller, a suspense drama, a sci-fi or even an all out action movie( you can count don but I dont think it qualifies). When was the last time he attempted anything like that??

I am sorry but i don't need a movie to convey me the message, there are plenty other ways we keep getting these messages .

I just think that now he just does movies just for the sake of doing it but i still have hopes with his future projects, they sound good.

He is doing films only for money these days. He does them to fund his business. I don't think he bothers to look at the script.

Rest he is probably taking King title too seriously and is smug thinking nothing can affect him. Some of his fans also seem complacent and defend his films.

He also sticks to faltu friends too much and leaves good films! Goes on to work in trash made by friends.

Movies don't have to have any message but it should make sense and should be fun to watch! There should be a story which audience want to hear! What message is there in say a movie like Gone Girl or Ocean's Eleven or hindi films like Jab We Met or Khosla Ka Ghosla?

Also message wala films are not all preachy and boring- if you take films like Daawat E Ishq, Khoobsurat, Queen...they are entertaining and enjoyable films but there is a greater point in the film.

But his movies doesn't make any sense, he doesn't even concentrate to give a decent performance. Most of the time, it has weak script, bad performances and poor direction. Jab we met is a very good movie. I can't compare that movie with Hny or ra.one because everything about Jwm was perfect. The message was about love, you know it when it happens and you shouldn't run after it.

Exactly, I wonder if he isn't interested in movies and only care about money then he should only produce them. His performance doesn't come as natural but forces.
