Sonam Kapoor acts pricey;Doesnt want to share stage with Randeep Hooda

At a recent event at the Mahalaxmi Race Course in Mumbai, Sonam Kapoor was invited as the special guest to give away the prizes. She accepted the invite but at the prize distribution ceremony, when she realised there were a few lesser known actors like Randeep Hooda and another starlet, on stage with her.

She was miffed. In fact, sources tell us Sonam had sent her team well ahead to check where she would be seated and who would be present on stage. An eyewitness told Deccan Chronicle, "Sonam was chirpy, socialising with others till it was time to give away the prizes. As she started walking towards the prize distribution area she frowned when she saw Randeep and a starlet climb the stage."

Without mincing words she told her manager that she was not willing to share the podium with anyone. "Her manager even asked the organisers to get Randeep off the stage if they wanted Sonam. Her request was however turned down and she gave in grudgingly.

She did sulk for a while though, but eventually got over her temper tantrum and greeted Randeep as if he was a long lost friend," said the eyewitness. And once the event was over, she left the venue claiming she had another event to attend. To be fair to Sonam, the organisers surely should know better. You cannot equate a diva with lesser-known actors.
