The way the Dulhas went bonkers for her...it's because Dolly became whoever the dulhas wanted her to be...the dulhas could not believe she was exactly who they wanted. And they never realize it's coz she is fake. Real people have flaws and never match your desires 100%...if someone is that's a sign of a faker :-)

Forgot to mention about the dudes...

They were all awesome and perfect in their roles. Pulkit was weak, more like his character. The other two were hilarious in their respective characters. And of course Archana, she had me in splits as well 🤣

I am glad Sonam doesn't hesitate to work with the newbies. I rather see young and happening newbies than the buddha gang. So please bring in more talented candies for us ladies. It's about time to see new faces than wrinkled ones...

P.S: Whoever hasn't seen the movie, I suggest, watch it. I am sure you'll enjoy your hour and half.

I saw it on Sunday afternoon...in the midwest of US...and there were about 10 people including me. I think that's pretty good for this film! People were having fun.

Now for Sonam's acting...Sonam got progressively better in the film. Her character starts off on a low but gets better later. I think she needs to work on scenes involving complex emotions- that's her weak point. But otherwise she was great. I wish there was more of Dolly in the film. It felt as if I really wanted to hear what she was thinking- only in the end you can hear her side of the story!

Glad you girls were entertained by this movie regardless the plot holes here & there. The movie is an alright movie if you are not a critical nitpicker.

People in this forum more concerned and worried sbout how much the film is making while Dolly herself is on a plane happily going to Paris. Nice to see Sonam has such caring fans that obsesse more over how much her movies make then her producers and Sonam herself.

I watched the movie. I wasn't expecting anything and I had fun. I laughed out loud and had a smile at the end because I loved the ending. It was perfect. Everyone was good esp. Rajkumar Rao. I felt so bad for him. He was the only one who truly loved Dolly. And Sonam was good. She has come a lot in the last two years.

That's why you shouldn't fall into the whole "love at first sight" scenario because 99% of the time it's the image/perception that you want to see in the other person. That's why it never works cause gradually that image you've built up of the person comes crumbling down as you start to see them as they are and not what you envisioned them.
Dolly was fun for that exact reason, men and their families having these sky high standards for women. It was too easy to fool them into believing that their fantasies had come true lol.
Gotta love that she gave no f*** about what she did.

@ Fiery - B4B is being written for Fawad & Sonam, I don't think his signed on the dotted lines yet but they're totes reuniting for it. Plus from what has been said I don't think B4B will start filming til next year (plans could change though).

Hahhaha, damn straight. That's the attitude you gotta have and not many have the guts to lead such a life without worrying about what "society or people".

Loved the ending and as LifeOlicious mentioned it lifted the entire movie. Different stroke is what worked for this movie. And having people come from all shades of life made this movie enjoyable on another level. Everyone had a character to play and everyone was given the importance than being side lined. Thus it's the fusion that worked for the movie more than anything else.

Well, let's hope we get to see them again in B4B. After watching them yesterday, I am not getting enough of them 😆 #Tubelight #Reaction 😆

I finally watched it. I actually had high expectations in terms of laugh . but it was just OK... in fact rajkumar rao was the only one that stood out for me. I just wanted to watch more and more of him. sonam was also OK. the problem is that despite being in every frame I don't really remember her. she doesn't stick.

just watch it for the awesomeness of rajkumar rao . hope the guy gets more roles. what is he doing next, anyone knows ?

I think he has finished shooting (at least his part) in Hamari Adhuri Kahani with Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi directed by Mohit Suri (Should be releasing this year, I've been keeping my eyes out for this project since it started.). He'll also be seen in a rom-com film with Hema Malini called Shimla Mirchi directed by Ramesh Sippy.
