Ohk I'd try and be unbiased here 😆 at this point I do agree that Varun is ahead of Sid in terms of 'stardom' & 'acting'.

Well although its too early to comment on stardom of 3-4 films old actors. But the fact that Varun has more brand endorsements (actually he endorsed more brands than any other new gen star) Varun made it into most searched male celebrity google list, forbes list (even ormax), while Sid was missing in all of these. So it does hint that Varun has more hype at the moment.
Meanwhile as an actor; Varun has always received better reviews by the critics and neutral audience for his acting. He is the only young actor to bag Best actor Screen nomination, Sid wasn't there even in guild awards nominations. Varun's biggest asset is his screen presence & confidence (thus he manages to emerge as the showstealer of his films while in Sid's films case earlier it was Parineeti then Ritesh)and Sid's biggest asset are his looks.

NOTE-In case of big superstars such lists, endorsements,nominations aren't exactly the parameter of popularity but if a new star is in concern then such things have a role. Anyways let's see what happens in future.

I agree with this point also. Varun went through that whole Lisa Hayden thing, which resulted in he's engaged/no he's not drama, which resulted in him making appearances with Natasha, which in turn kept him in the news a bit longer. Things seemed to calm down for him once he went to Vegas for a couple of months. Sid on the other hand seems to be keeping a low profile especially since he started shooting for Brothers. You rarely heard from him except for the recent weeks and the rumors of him and Alia. Interestingly enough Varun's name got involved in that too as soon as he came back from Vegas 😆

I'm pretty sure this is in reference to the rumors that Sid is Karan Johar's boy toy and therefor everything he's achieved so far is because of that.

I am hardcore varun I love this guy on and off screen bt I do like Sid I also think he is a very good actor. So for me I think its really too early to decide btw these 2 they are extremely hardworking guys and both mind their own business and do their thing. I think what is happening at the moment is that varun's trailer performance from badlapur has kind of taken evry1 by storm. Its like shahid haider as soon as u saw the haider trailer u kind of wanted to just give shahid all the awards b4 seeing the actually movie. Coz u just kind of knew that he was going to be amazing in it . And this is what is happening with Varun at the moment with just the trailers and songs he has blown most ppl away and most ppl are kind of comparing just his trailer and song performance to every1 elses movies. A little unfair bt if he is anything as good in movie as he has been in the trailers than its extremely well deserved. For most varun fans we do see him as the complete package he has done comedy, romance, a little bit of action, he emotes well, he can dance and off screen again he is once again also impressing with his stage performances and his interactions he seems to be the complete package he acts like a star, he looks like a star, he loves being a star and he is a star. His badlapur is sid's ek villian whether it will work or not as well as ev depends. Its his destiny if it does well or bad bt he is some1 who is extremely talented and will always try even if something doesn't work out and that's what I love ab him. And its very pathetic that the only thing that his haters can attack him with is that he is a star kid so what if his dad and brother can make movies for him? If he acts well in them than so be it. It doesn't matter hw u get an opportunity bt what u do with that opportunity aftr u get it. His dad made mth for him bt he won every1 with his performance. And unlike other star kids I got to say that Varun has drive to want to actually be an actual actor and star and he aint no abhishek bachan wasting his talent and hiding behind his father, wife and laziness or that useless sonakshi who is just brainless and wasting her talent as well. He wants to do everything he wants to actually be a star and that want makes him extremely dangerous to other actors. Bt really no1 should ever think that sid is going anyway soon the only thing that guy is bad with is dancing otherwise he seems to be extremely hardworking and is willing to experiment and that's a deadly combo. And in bw hard work often works more than talent. Look at dp and pc they are prime examples that with a little talent but more importantly hardwork u can reach the top and surpass ppl who are more talented than u aka that lazy kareena who will always be seen as wasted talent coz she wants to only make 100cr films. So really too early to judge and I think if we just take their 3 movies I think sid has made ab 2 or 3 crores more than varun and considering that varun doesn't have a 100 cr movie yet it is darn good to be that close to sid's figures.

More films doesnt mean big star 😆..i m sure thr is.so muuch work now for youngsters that Sid cud hv done 4 5 films a year l..and any tom dick and harry film but he is doing 1.2 max..bcs thts his strategy...it might or might not work..
