Varun is better actor, dancer and more versatile than Sid. He is more charismatic can talk better on stage is good with hosting and live performances. Comedy, action, dark thriller and romance he is one new actor who tried every kind of films.

Varun needs to score big without alia. He benefited from humpty which was a hit mainly due to alia just how arjun got his first 100cr in form of 2states with alia.

Both SRK and Varun need Alia.

Just because Sid has one 100+ crore movie doesn't mean that he has left Varun behind. In terms of acting Varun is far ahead of Sid. I'm not saying Sid is wooden because he has improved a lot but not enough to outdo Varun...yet.

I don't think Humpty was a hit just cause of Alia...Varun got better reviews than she did and i remember post release most people on this forum agreed that it was his film all the way...At this moment Varun is slightly ahead and he has a better line up of films...but it'll take another year or so to figure out the bigger star

lol sid is only criticized on IF for being wooden...world also exists outside IF where he is actually considered promising😆...he has the highest number of followers on twitter among newbies...varun did his fathers's film now he will do his brothers film...varun has the advantage of being a star kid and with both his brother and father being directors he is bound to get more offers...i think sid's lineup is also very intersting...he is working with Vikramaditya motwane and also doing a film which Amir was supposed to do...sid also had a 100 cr movie which varun is yet to have...i dont know how varun is ahead of sid..maybe coz IF says so😆

Varun's not getting more offers because he's a star kid...being a star kid will get you your first, second maybe even third film but not after that...at least not with good directors...by that logic arjun would be offered lots of films but he's not

I don't think anyone has left anyone behind. Right now anyone can overtake anyone. Both Varun and Sid have had successful 2014. Yes, it does look at the moment that Varun has more hype and more films, but one has to also remember that everyone has their own strategy in relation to choosing films or the amount of buzz they want around themselves at a particular point of time. Sid's strategy might be different from Varun's with regards to taking up films- after all more films does not necessarily mean better/more promising films or guaranteed success. In fact, I personally think Sid has better films than Varun at the moment, while Varun is the better actor for now.

Also, Varun has like 6 projects in his kitty. And as far as I know he has achieved a good balance between the types of scripts and characters he has chosen. And on the other hand Sid only has two projects...one with Akshay Kumar ( which looks really promising) and the other one with Katrina (which I have no idea about lol).

My point being is that they haven't done enough movies to decide which one is ahead of the other but in a few years (say maybe three or four years) we will have a better idea. But my bet is on Varun.

Disclaimer: I'm not a fan of either of them. So yeah.

No. It's just that Badlapur is getting publicized like theres no tomorrow.
