Amazing Songs Of Alone!
Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover starrer horror flick Alone made a somewhat decent numbers at the box office this Wednesday. The movie made about 1.68 Crores on its Day 6 at the domestic box office, thus taking its total to 19.80 crores.

Competing with the Hindi Version of Shankar's I (starring Vikram) which is holding up pretty well at the box office, Alone has grossed some decent numbers from single screen theaters across the mass belts.
The movie's first week business will stand in the range of 21 crores at the Box Office in India, which is not really bad! However, the film won't be able to perform in its 2nd week much as the upcoming week will see Akshay Kumar's Baby and Sonam Kapoor's Dolly Ki Doli releasing, which will occupy most of the screens.

After a decent weekend, Alone had a regular fall of around 50% over the weekdays, hence resulting in around 22 crores coming in. These are decent collections for this mid-budget film, courtesy some good appreciation that it fetched in the territories where it was expected to hold on reasonably well. However, the film primarily has one week to perform optimally as in days to come it would be Baby and Dolly Ki Doli that would prove to be competition, both from the perspective of screen count as well as choice of audience. Though 30 crore would be a good total for the film, one waits to see how far it goes from here.

With this, director Bhushan Patel has kept his record intact as Alone would end up doing slightly better business than his debut flick 1920-Evil Returns. Though it would fall way short ofRagini MMS-2, it is understandable considering the fact that there was a lot more going for it (read Sunny Leone) than just the horror element. Still, the man has found a good niche building for himself in the industry. As for Bipasha Basu, the decent run of Alone is set to bring her more films belonging to similar genre, stage and setting.
On the other hand Tamil dubbed film I did get good appreciation but that didn't quite add up to the numbers. Its running length of over 3 hours proved to be a deterrent as well. The film would touch the 10 crore mark but that's about it. Flop.
As for Sharafat Gayi Tel Lene and Crazy Cukkad Family, even their combined collections were less than 1 crore, which is a pity. Disasters.

Alone the Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover starrer film made somewhere a decent collection in its first week box office collection. Though it was expected to embark with some tangible figure this time, but it failed to keep the promises it made before hitting to theatres, thanks to the fierce competition wrecked by the number of releases the very same Friday. As per reports, the Alone 1stweek box office collection tolled to around 21 crores, which seems to be an okay figure considering the number of flops of the dusky beauty in the recent times and with no star value in the film.
The other movies, which remained as its biggest competition included the Vikram's I (Aai), which really did well over the box office entering soon into the hundred club. However, as per experts the movie is certainly not going to work in the current week considering the two more movies hitting the theatres - the Akshay Kumar's film called Baby and Sonam Kapoor con bride film called Dolly Ki Doli. These two movies would certainly going to occupy the audience along with the number of screens hampering Alone to turn out more lonely than before.

Alone grossed a little over 17 crore nett in its first week. The weekend was low and weekdays held steady on low collections. there are two main releases today which will put and end to Alone's run. The film may just squeeze past 20 crore nett but with the genre mainly depending on Indian theatrical for recovery it has no chance of recovery.
Day 1 | Rs 3.35 crore nett |
Day 2 | Rs 3.45 crore nett |
Day 3 | Rs 4.25 crore nett |
Day 4 | Rs 1.85 crore nett |
Week 1 | Rs 17 crore approx. |
