He still acts as Asad... i dont know why.. but i was just changing channels n got theough few glimpses n i felt that he is not giving any new expression... he is same as asad.. that all tym watery eyes n same facial expressions.. he is not giving any range...

It is true that Bhushan Patel the director has conceptualised Kabir as Asad ...especially the Asad of Mangalpur .A lot of viewers should have no problem with that as they are still hankering for him to be back on their television screens as Asad even a whole year after he quit.

But in the beautiful number ' Chand aasmano se lapaata hogaya hai' there are shades of Armaan visible too

First day first show ...three old but spirited women out to scream their guts out in fear !

Do not remember the last horror film I saw ...may have been Omen or Exorcist .

But when young I saw most of Alfred Hitchcock's films ..remember particularly Psycho and Dial M for Murder. Outside India audience do not consider Horror / Suspense / Murder films B-grade .I wonder why it is so in India . may be Alone with its classy visuals revealed so far will dispel that and we will have better quality films in this genre with popular actors looking in the direction.Earlier we had Dilip Kumar and Madhubala in Mahal which is an all time classic and then again Dilip Kumar and Vyjanthimala in Madhumati.

Applaud the makers,director, actors for their valiant attempt to venture out to upgrade the genre.
