If he said no good for him why does he have to go on a moral policing , I bet it was a minuscule role, who would give an asian something noteworthy in a big hollywood film ...just Milking to garner publicity.

Coming to his decision - damn I respect him even more for the bold decision he has made. These days people regard kissing scenes as 'the norm' and don't care if they are asked to do one on screen. Zaid is very adherent in his values and traditions and I respect him for that. There are not that many individuals who would decline a huge Hollywood or even Bollywood offer because of scenes they do not feel comfortable with.

Bollywood will never be able to follow pursuit. These days its all about non-family oriented movies. Many parents always hesitate before watching a movie with their kids. I just watched 'The Shaukeens' and was utterly disgusted. The entire movie was based on elderly perverts. Like are you kidding me?

In short, salute to Zaid for his bold decision. I support him as do millions of other people!

@Bold : I don't really get it.

There are various genres, each of which cater to diff sets of audience. Every movie can't be 'fit' for family viewing. One could always check the trailer to get a basic idea of the theme and then decide, whether to watch it or not. Personal preferences. Just because all the movies don't suit the family audience doesn't mean the director or bollywood is trolling the audience.

I, for one, am really glad that bollywood is experimenting with different genres, even if some of them are controversial. Restricting the content is so boring, unless it's glorifying anti-social/criminal activities.

On topic : I don't know this guy and couldn't care less about his career and choices. LOL.
