Kind of a trick question. Will this end of lead roles come by choice or due to lack of offers? No matter what the answer I think Saif will go first.

I don't know what Salman has done but he's reversed the aging process from a few years ago so he can get away with his Dabaang kind of roles for a while. Shahrukh looks aged but he's also stubborn and seems like he hasn't accepted his age so I can see him becoming Bollywood's Rajnikanth and continue to work with younger girls even when he's in his 60s. Will his movies continue to make money? More than likely. Will he and his films have the same mass appeal that they do now? Probably not. Aamir on the other hand has already proven that he will do off beat kind of hero roles so as long as good scripts are being written he will work and he will continue to succeed.

But I see Aamir being the first one to voluntarily step aside from lead roles. Will it happen in the next few years? No, and it doesn't need to. But 10 or 15 years down the line I can see him being the first Khan to turn down a role like Fannaa or Rang De Basanti. But he will probably also be the only one who won't be relegated to typical father roles a la Rishi Kapoor. He will look for and find the Paa or Chinni Kum kind of scripts where it will make sense for a 60 year old to be the lead. And he will succeed as well.
