With the release of PK, all records started getting broken. The movie started with high collections went on to record the highest collections for the Bollywood movie.

As per the latest trade analysts, the movie PK already crossed world-wide collections of Rs.560 crores in just 17 days after its release. The movie had world-wide release on 19th December 2014. The movie having Aamir Khan in the role of alien losing contact with his control is supported by other roles like Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Sanjay Dutt etc.
