I wish she would have done JTHJ.
Probably the movie would have been a bit more bearable.

I was thinking he same. No wonder Yash Chopra was keen on taking/ directing Deepika, she would have taken JTHJ to a different level. Much much better than what Katrina did to that movie.

Why do PR firms release such things? Bebo gets bashed for her statements! Even Juhi once said sthg like this. Everyone rejects films...some flop some hit. It's silly to publicize unless you left a film for a stupid reason and later realize it was a bad decision - I am willing to hear that story not a story of 'here is a list of films to only show I was the first choice I am so awesome I let go of films others would give an arm & leg because I have sooo many films at hand I don't have dates' 😆

Then why did she say something like " I never understood why I never got the chance to be yash chopra heroine" or something to that effect if she was offered jthj? A yash chopra film with srk.. Like she would have rejected it.. What load of crap..

Jab Tak Hai Jaan: Before Katrina Kaif, the role of Meera was offered to Deepika Padukone. But Deepika rejected the film and thus lost the chance to star in Yash Chopra's last film. Katrina Kaif fetched rave reviews for her performance in the film. The film also went on to become one of the highest-grossing films at the box-office.

Deepika also rejected Fast and the Furious. Remember? 😛
