Queen! I freakin loved that movie. Wasn't really interested in watching it, but my friend convinced me. She's been gloating ever since😆

Agree with this a 100%. During the promotion of Student Of The Year I didn't think Alia do anything more than dress up roles. But she's definitely and very pleasantly surprised me with her choice of roles and how smart she's been in handling her career. And I still maintain that for a 19/20 year old who was born and raised in a normal rich sheltered household her performance in Highway was phenomenal. The girl is very very talented. I actually watched SOTY after Highway.

Omg...actually I completely agree !!! Alia has been absolutely incredible! She has such a real and raw vibe about her. The amount of maturity she has exhibited at just 20 is remarkable...Her film choices too have been awesome and she's doing Vikas Behl's (director of Queen) film! She's gonna go places!

Actually every movie this year has disappointed me except PK.

That being said, Hasee To Phasee was watchable, and I expected it to be bad.

Also HOLIDAy didn't interest me either, but I watched it and it impressed.

I actually really didn't like HTP much but others seemed to like it a lot...their Jodi was nice but the movie ..the puke scene and everything..I didn't like it 🤢😆

But how can I forget PK..I'm watching it again right no with a group of friends 😆 Who would have thought a movie with a heroine with duck lips and hero with alien ears would be an ATBB! It proved good movies are what work! Loved it!

In the recent ones: Ugly...Sounded like a B-grade movie, but damn it was one hell of a twister and turner. All the actors were bloody hell good especially Rohit Roy. Just wished it didn't have such a cruel ending 😒

Me too liked Daawat-E-Ishq quite a bit .I feel where the film faltered was in the climax .Could not phantom why Aditya forgave a gold digger like Pari so easily .The film felt bit rushed ..

Daawat E Ishq
Hasee Toh Phasee

Both deserved better than their lame trailers and songs
