I am talking about BO here not nostalgia. If people nearly worship any of them, they'd still watch their movies in theaters. Khans, Akki and Ajay are still at top from that era. Female stardom is overrated in first place and you can't compare Vidya who has delivered so many hits on her own. Vidya is in a different league. You see what happens when many mainstream heroines tried to carry a movie on their shoulders like Vidya did.

Did they have star power then? 😆 Talking about facts here not vague terms. Yea, Vidya wasn't loved at her peak that's why she delivered all those hits without superstars. Being conventional heroine doesn't mean you're a bigger star/BO pull. Vidya paved a new way which has been acknowledged by the likes of PC.

In BW, its very hard to deliver critical + commercial successes many times, especially if you're a female actor. After Vidya, only Kangana managed to do it with Queen. The others have all tried and failed sadly. Vidya also made it 'cool' to do such films, with her successes giving confidence to both actors and producers to back such films. I think she deserves that credit.
