PK Doubles Its Investment; Makes 191% Profit At The Box Office

Koimoi's Return of Investment list has seen some considerable changes in numbers with Aamir Khan's PK making huge moolah at the Box Office.

PK, which was made on a budget of 85 crores, has so far made a nett collection of 247.50 crores in 11 Days. The film has recovered its cost long back, in fact in its opening weekend itself, however, the film has doubled its investments now and made huge profit for itself.

The film's profit percent so far is a whooping 191%.

PK has taken the 4th Place at Koimoi's compilation of Movies of 2014 With Best ROI. This Raju Hirani film is all set to beat the profit rate of 2 States soon and take the 3rd place.

Till now not a single day under 10 crores.😲😲

And if today somehow manages to stay above 10 it can go for a whole two weeks without drop below that mark.

This is historic. I dont see this record broken anytime soon.

PK 12th Day (2nd Tuesday) Collection Update.

PK is absolutely steady on 2nd Tuesday (12th day) at box office as early reports for Morning and Noon shows are coming. There is hardly any drop in places. Morning shows registered a minuscule drop of around 5-10% in comparison to day 11. However Noon shows performed almost similar to previous day. PK started the day with occupancy in the region of 25-30%. After that film picked up well to show occupancy of about 35-40% for Noon shows. Film is expected to pick up from Evening onward as family audiences should come out in numbers again which has been the case for last few days.

Occupancy Report of PK for 2nd Tuesday Noon shows -

Delhi - 40%
Gurgaon - 40-45%
Mumbai - 30-35%
Kanpur - 25-30%
Lucknow - 55%
Pune - 35%
Hyderabad - 40%

PK has collected around 10 crore nett on 2nd Monday (11th day) at box office. Thus film total collection currently stands at approx 246.25 crore nett. PK should again collect in the region of 9+ crore nett for today and that means film 12 day total is heading for 255+ crore nett mark.

PK Collection Breakup -

1st Week - 182.95 crore nett.
2nd Weekend - 53.3 crore nett
2nd Monday - 10 crore nett.

Total (11 days) - 246.25 crore nett (approx).

MUMBAI Circuit:: 5 Years Old Record Broken

Its the oldest circuit record.. 3 Idiots released same period 5 years ago collected around 79cr approx and since then no film has even reached 75cr Mark while 70cr Mark is also reached once i.e. Last year by Dhoom 3 (74cr approx).. PK brought makers of 3 Idiots back and they again did magic as movie has collected over 80cr by now and is on course to create record by margin..

PK has collected around 80cr approx in 11 Days which is already a record and is on course to become first film ever to reach 100cr Mark in the circuit.. Below are top 10 grossers in the circuit..
