Abhishek Kapoor's much-talked-about film Fitoor has finally got back on track and has a new actress added to the cast. Lara Dutta, we hear, has been roped in for a very special role for which she will soon start shooting.

A source told this paper, "Abhishek was on the lookout for a character that required a strong screen presence. He was suggested Lara's name and the makers approached her. She of course liked the offer and agreed to do it."

The film's shooting is on in Kashmir with Aditya Roy Kapur and Rekha, who have been filming in the valley for over a week now. Speaking about Lara, the source added, "Lara is very excited to join the shoot at the earliest. She is preparing for it and will go for costumes trial very soon.

Fitoor is an adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic, Great Expectations, and the director took a lot of time reading the book before writing the screenplay. The source added, "Katrina and Aditi Rao Hydari are also part of the film. Aditi plays the younger version of Rekha and Ajay Devgn will have a cameo in the film."

Lara n kattu together in a movie after 8 years. Lots changed in that time
Lara who started with PC and Kat playing equal or second fiddles to her (andaaz, partner) is now doing side roles in their movies (don2, fitoor)

I love the woman though. Very underrated.
