He has all the good directors in his pocket. Ayan, Raju, Anurag, Imtiaz etc only works with him. Younger lot cant compete with RK. He will take all recognitions away. He'll be the last superstar of Bollywood.

Yup. He's got a good line-up. He should keep doing whatever he's doing b/c the newer lot has piping hot talent too.

Haha directors are not objects, they can think. Maybe the younger lot cannot compete with him because of his merits. He has everything a BW hero could ask for.

He was born in good era 😆
If he was born around Sallu and Srk, he would be doing masala films right now as well. Ranbir is a good actor.
Being a kapoor helps and now he has Ms. Kaif in his pocket. 😆

He deserves it; I have never been so entertained by an actor onscreen as much as I am by Ranbir (after the khans of course).

He is a very good actor. He has everything working for him. I think that Rockstar and Barfi came to him at a good time. After those he proved that he can act, and its not just because of being a star son. Regardless, yes he was very lucky for the time he debuted, and yes there as a bias towards him. Imran Khan's film did better, yet Ranbir won the filmfare. But now when peoples films do better on the box office, they still win the best actor. It's just all messed up. There is a bias, but he is the one person that I think handles it well, and still makes good choices. He doesn't let the fame get to his head.

I don't think its just luck. Ranbir is extremely talented. He is also smart with film selection and networking. IMHO, he is charismatic onscreen, can play varied characters.

I know fans of non-star kids always crib about the starkid tag but that film family thing can't take you too far. Esha Deol, Fardeen, Tushar, Zayed never made it even after their million comebacks.

Lucky because of his links and connections but also talented n gud actor... but i do believe directors should go to other actors too with their projects... if you don't provide good opportunities to new actors, they are not gonna grow...we need 4-5 actors after Khans to have a good selection of movies for decades to come.
I cannot imagine going to Ranbir movie every 3 months because all other new actors movies will be crap because of mediocre directors. i will get fed up... like next year, almost 4 movies of ranbir might release and that's already too much for me... doesn't matter if i like the actor or not!

It could've been luck tha brought him into the industry, but he has been good, consistently :)
One thing I like about him is, he neither overacts nor does he look like a plank, he acts in a balanced way, takes a middle path lol. Sometimes his acting is really good(Rajneeti - i personally am crazy for that Ranbir, Burfi, Rockstar - sort of, Wake Up Sid, Rocket singh etc) . He manages to get into his character, better than many actors IMO. Now that some good movies are lined up - BV, the biopics, I think it'll change his career trajectory if he succeeeds in doing a good job. Also, I have always felt that he does a better job each time.
