It was a private and close birthday party for the kapoor family and close friends!

If Neetu had a problem with Katrina and does not want to accept her as Ranbir's girlfriend then Katrina would not have been invited at all!

it's just that for the first time we got a picture of Katrina at a Kapoor event, she has attended several ones before but we never got pics. This time we got pics because Dipti who is Neetu's close friend posted 2 pictures of Katrina on her IG, if Neetu had a problem with it then Dipti would have not posted the pictures Katrina were in.

So yeah this proves nothing at all.

Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor, the famous love birds in Tinsel Town, might have taken their relationship to the next level - by moving in together - but all doesn't seem to be well between the belle and her beau's family. The bone of contention this time around is a certain group photo, which Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir's mother, had posted on a social networking site.

At Ranbir's cousin, Nitasha Nanda's birthday bash, which was held recently, the women of the entire Kapoor Khandaan was present. Katrina, too, was a part of the party. And in a certain photograph, the birthday girl, Nitasha (Nitasha is Ranbir's aunt, Ritu Nanda's daughter) is seen with Ranbir, Neetu and Kat. While the photo uploaded by Nitasha has Katrina in it, Neetu's version of the picture is slightly different. Katrina has been cropped out from this family photo.

Earlier, Ranbir has been seen taking his rumoured girlfriend and his mother out for dinners together, and one could almost hazard a guess as far as the equation between the could-be saas-bahu is concerned. Onlookers, who had been present at these outings, had earlier said that Neetu and Katrina looked quite comfortable in each other's company. However, Neetu's current photoshopping has given rise to several rumours regarding the current relation between the two.

Is it a case of the mother feeling bad that the son has moved in with a girl? Or is it something more innocuous? The answer to that, one hopes, will be revealed in time by the people concerned. For now, we can just hope all gets back to being well between Ranbir's family and Katrina.
