Aamir's intervention in PK's edit worries co-stars
DC CORRESPONDENT | November 06, 2014, 00.11 am ISTMumbai: After wanting to rework PK's promotional strategies, Aamir Khan now also wants to monitor the film's editing process. In fact, the actor has asked director-producer Raju Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra to not show the film to anyone in the industry (including co-actors Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput) until the final edit is done. He insists that everybody should get to see the final copy only. The dubbing of the film is incomplete too.
Aamir's approach has become a matter of concern for those associated with the project, because this is not the first time that he has wanted to intervene in the editing process. He had received much flak for wanting to chop out scenes of co-stars in Dhoom 3 too. Buzz is that Anushka and Sushant are extremely concerned about their screen time being altered.
"Aamir's vision and objectivity has always worked for his films. Sometimes it's inevitable to keep or chop a scene. We're certain there is no agenda," says a unit member.
