Finally saw the movie yesterday... IT was super awesome. I loved every bit of it. I don't know why people are syaing that its a stupid movie? It makes so much more sense than Dhoom3. I had found D3 to be utterly boring and ridiculous. But HNY is way ahead of that bs... Abhishek and Boman were fabulous in the movie..Deeps looked so damn hot and pretty at the same time..her dance movements were great... and man SRK as usual was the SRK i.e. Stupendo fantabulous 👏

Honestly I really liked the script, cinematography, acting and songs of the movie... Im so gonna watch this movie again this week😳

'Happy New Year' (HNY) 2nd Friday Box Office Collection: Shah Rukh Starrer Grosses 300 Crore, Beats Salman Khan's 'Dabangg 2'

Shah Rukh Khan's "Happy New Year" (HNY) has grossed more than 300 crore from the worldwide box office inside a week.

The Farah Khan directorial dropped on its second Friday as it minted only 7 crore. The collection of the film dropped as expected, due to new releases.

However, "Happy New Year" is still expected to dominate the collection centres as the new releases have opened to dull responses. But the collections of the SRK film will be on the lower side since its screen count has declined.

The film did well in its first week but the main test rests in the second week, when the hype surrounding the movie dies down.

Meanwhile, the net earnings of "Happy New Year" after eight days stands at 164.5 crore, while the gross income stands at 237 crore, according to Koimoi. The gross income of "Happy New Year" is now more than that of Hrithik Roshan's "Bang Bang".

The musical heist drama, co-starring Deepika Padukone, has shattered the lifetime gross total of Salman Khan's "Dabangg 2" as well. The gross worldwide total of "Happy New Year" stands at 300 crore, while "Dabangg 2" gross total was 265 crore.

The film is also performing well in overseas circuits and has minted around 63 crore till now. By its second weekend, "Happy New Year" will beat the collections of films like "Bang Bang" and "Ek Tha Tiger".

However, it remains to be seen whether it will beat "Krrish 3" and "Kick" records.

So HNY has already crossed 300 crores...Im guessing it will gain another 100 in this week...but in its lifetime whether it can cross Dhoom3 or not we will have to see...bt i hope it does😳

Negative Points: Srk so called abs. I felt it was not needed in the movie and it didn't made any sense. Srk was looking really bad in the movie (health and acting wise). His dialogue was so cheesy😡 and silly. Pathetic dialogue! When Srk use with deepika..cheap girl and while flirting...Oh man for the first time Srk pairing with Deepika was SOO ODD! I really wish she was paired with Abhishek. Boman was good and Sonu was wasted. Malaika what was her role? again? I don't get why she is always shown in such avatar. Deepika was average. Music was sooo boring and at one point I was playing games on my cell phone haha😆 The movie can be edited for another 30 minutes..Hacking Votes just didn't made sense to me..

Positive Points: I have to give full credit Farah Khan for good direction, Story was very weak, message was good but the story didn't made any sense to me. Abhishek was the star in the movie and only because of him I stayed til the end. This has to be Srk's Worst Performance and Worst Movie til date. I enjoyed Abhishek throughout the movie, he's a GEM! I don't know why isn't he getting good roles because he's a wonderful actor and a good human being.

P.S. Has Anyone seen HNY promotion in Kapil Sharma Comedy Nights? I think Srk was extremely rude by playing that prank. I just didn't liked him for that. Comedy is where everyone is laughing together not at others. Srk has so much money but It just gone to his head. I hope he would work more in movies like Chak De, Swades and make good movies. I liked movie Kick better atleast it sends out a very good message. If it wasn't Srk Farah comeback, this movie would had been disaster at the box office and probably Srk knew too and that's why they did Tour in USA. Too sad Srk is wasting his money and talent on useless movies like this and his next movie FAN. He needs to work with his age group actresses and needs to stop working with those who are like his daughter age. Because When he romance them, it looks very vulgar and awkward. The sense of humor in the movie didn't worked between SRK and Deepika.

I will give 2 stars for Farah Khan and Abhishek..otherwise this movie was a DISASTER!
