I don't think I have expressed my thoughts clearly. I didn't say that men don't have the right to speak up, but...what I am saying is when men DO speak up, they dont associate their stand with their gender.

For example when that whole Ranbir controversy happened in Ibiza, you didn't see him go on twitter and say "Hey im glad all these males are standing up for themselves like Saif did or Ranveer did or Hrihtik did" - No actor would do that because its an individual issue, not a gener one... I honestly feel what Parineeti has just done is extremely stupid and unintelligent

That's my main point; why does Parineeti have to turn this into a gender thing? Many of the problems or scandals these girls are talking about have nothing to do with feminism

For example Anushkas gets flack for her Lips and Sonakshi gets flack for her weight or Alia being targeted for being dumb...but Arjun Kapoor gets flack for his weight too ...Salman was recently targeted too for having fake abs in ETT and even Ranveer gets judged from being too happy and outgoing... I dont see them trying to twist the situation into something its not.

For god sakes its not like these girls were physically harmed or a victim of any sort. Then that would be a different case. For example - Preity Zinta recently took a stand for herself when she alleged that she was abused by Ness Wadia - THAT is an example that I would support and be sensitive towards- because its a REAL problem... Its funny because Parineeti didn't mention Preity's stand and IMO that is a much more serious issue.

But I personally wouldn't associate Preity's case with feminismin either, because if Preity had abused a man it would've have been just as bad. My main point here is that, in my opinion, whatever these actresses are doing is just for attention and I actually find It regressive, I dont see the connection with feminism, instead I feel like they are taking 10 steps backwards. I know there is a lot of history with women and their rights and a lot of stigma but if they TRULY want to move forward and be a feminist in the truest meaning, they will need to change the way they are thinking.
