So i finally dragged my friends to see haider ...

There were lots of posts here abt how it is anti-national ... and twitter went crazy ... but really? ... did we watch the same film ?

Ya, so the issue of afspa was raised ... but the movie was hardly about the army ... in fact it was about the mechanisms of a family - every one has an agenda and ppl die - hardly by the hands of the army though ... half the ppl died by accident ...

SPOILERS

... haider's dad did help the militants ... so its not as if vishal bhardawaj showed that they were picking up innocents randomly (which btw does happen all the time in reality) ... as for the torture scenes ... how many movies have the police/ the army shown doing much worse ... its not as if its the first torture scenes regarding the army that bollywood has shown ...

Really how many of those ppl protesting actually SAW the film ... once something starts trending, just go with the flow, no need to use any common sense

btw, good film ... but i came out feeling as if it was left incomplete ... that there should have been more ... it just ended so abruptly ...
