Young and talented director-duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK's last venture, the zombie-comedy, GO GOA GONE, produced by Saif Ali Khan's home banner, Illuminati Productions, might not have managed to grab as much eyeballs as it deserved, but its music by Sachin-Jigar was, and is still hugely popular, setting a benchmark for others to follow. And, one does hope for a repeat from the duo for the same team in this all out star studded venture, HAPPY ENDING. So let's get going and check out the audio, which promises to be a New Year party offering.

Sachin-Jigar have this knack of coming up with absolutely dew fresh melody and this is evident in Mileya Mileya', a lovely romantic composition that has class written all over it. Jigar and Priya are efficient (behind the mike), but its Rekha Bhardwaj whose haunting earthy vocals provides that class touch. Orchestrations, (guitar, violins, saxophone) too need to be commended.

Paaji Tusi Such A Pussycat' is said to be the directors' Raj & DK's version of the tanhaai'/sad song. And surely this is one heartbreak number that brings smile on the face, courtesy Amitabh Bhattacharya's black / dark humour and Sachin-Jigar's excellent musical sense. The opera touch, rock and roll elements and nursery rhyme theme makes this a highly interesting hear. Divya Kumar, JIgar and the lyricist himself come up with a no holds barred renditions.

A quintessential love song, Jaise Mera Tu' which is a rehash of Sachin-Jigar's Meher Meher' (from Raj & DK's Tamil film, D FOR DOPIDI), will appeal to all die hard romantics. Reason, its fresh tune and excellent singing by the perpetually in form Arijit, with good support by Priya.

A song that can come under scrutiny (quite like DK Bose' and Party All Night') for its unsavoury and unnecessary lyrics, G Phaad Ke' (which can easily be changed to Cheer Phaad Ke'), is rendered well by Divya Kumar and Shefali Alvares. The party dance number boasts of all the right ingredients, good rap, lovely rhythm and superb orchestral arrangements.

Papon lends his magic touch with his smooth vocals to a lovely romantic outing, Khamma Ghani' (Rajasthani greeting) and is supported in his endeavour by Smita and Vidhi. The lovely breezy chorus Khamma Ghani' has a nice ring to it, though the Rajasthani greeting does appear out of context in the scheme of things.

Just as one was wondering why a full- fledged reggae number has not been composed lately in Bollywood, Sachin-Jigar surprise us with one, Haseena Tu Kameena Main', a nice, flirtatious propositioning number. Siddharth Basru, Rahul Pandeya and Shruti Pathak render the number with ease. Once again orchestrations are top notch, the whistles, organ sounds, percussions, superb! A number tailor made for lead actor Saif's Casanova image.

Rounding off, big hopes that one rested in the audio of Raj & DK's HAPPY ENDING is well and truly met. This is one New Year party album that is a must buy. Sachin-Jigar have certainly come up with fresh and interesting melodies and hat ke' music, and our favourites are, Mileya Mileya', Paaji Tusi Such A Pussycat', Khamma Ghani'. The audio should help HAPPY ENDING embark on a good initial when it releases all over on 21st November.
