No I think it's valid issue. Happy somebody started a conversation. Is it for publicity for her movies or not is debatable but the gullible have only themselves to blame.

Her first two tweets seemed very genuine and I think that would've been the response of any lady who would see her cleavages being made into headlines.

However, the credibility of the whole situation was lost when she started re tweeting everyone's tweets. I think when she saw everyone supporting her, she decided to take advantage of it.
Responding to TOI again and dragging the matter was a really bad move on her part. People would've taken it more seriously if she'd have let her first two tweets speak.

Overexposure has ruined this whole cause.

I don't know whether she did all these for publicity or not but one thing is for sure.This controversy raised an important issue of sexual objectification of actresses by times of india.And this has happened with every actress and not just deepika.

TOI makes slide shows of all actresses body parts and the headlines would always be cheap.Hope all these stops after this.

Objectification will never stop until we have actresses like her encouraging objectification in the movies...It has become deep rooted with people like her being a major part of it...
