I hate hypotheticals. You never know.

IMO. Katrina could have done Finding Fanny. I have faith in her comic timing. Although her Angie would be quirkier. I can actually imagine the whole "better" scene with Katrina. She would have had that airy nonchalance to that scene.

I can't picture her as Mary Kom though. Even Priyanka didn't fit the role well. I think Mary Kom deserved a smaller star. That was the problem with the movie. The commercial force was bigger than the story and that ruined it.

is this some kind of joke? hypothetical Q nd A's.look at her filmography all the roles she has done are almost same urbane girl or non Hindi speaking NRI. it's gud to see her fans or admirers having confidence in her but she herself doesn't try to experiment much.

MKBD was such a commercial movie. Hit songs plus a romcom.

NY was a movie with such a sensitive subject which also helped the movie a lot. But yes, Kat deserves credit here.

Other than that, when has her star power ever been tested?

Finding fanny collected 5cr from just 900 screen being an English movie which is the highest ever. I think it's doing quite well.

May be the movies would have opened better and the BO numbers were a little better because of Kareena's starpower...but as far as the acting goes...especially in MK...I don't think Kat would have been able to pull it off...FF maybe a little as she would have looked more convincing and would have been more comfortable with that English language...but MK would have been a total disaster as far as portraying the role of MK goes...

Kat knows her strengths, she is not going to do roles that call for acting. She has carved her own path and is successful using that formula. Why mess with something that works ?
