See,in the BOI status average is given for DDD & average is for FF too... .. @Bold- Ppl in this forum show that whatever Katrina touches becomes hit. Costars & production value etc doesn't matter( NYC was a YashRaj prod but no one mentions that too,it's all because if Katrina) then why leave DDD!

Why does all threads have to end up becoming a bashing thread?? TM asked a question, very sensible one IMO... Instead of replying and discussing, people are jumping and start posting BO stats on other movies...

OT : My answer is No, because FF and MK didnt do well because they had limitations.. MK having bad reviews for director and FF was mostly known to be an "english" film... IMO whatever they got, as in BO, its highly due to positive WOM on the performances(esp in case of MK).. Lets face it, no one can deny Kat's star appeal, and at the same time we also cant deny that she cant ACT... If Kat had done both films, she would have been badly criticised and would have damaged the overall WOM of the two films..

However, Kat will never do such films that puts her to do something she isnt comfortable in... She is enjoying her phase doing blink and miss roles and dance/action roles in movies.. Let her do it... She makes her fans happy by doing that, whereas DP/PC fans knows and understands their fav strength(their acting), and they enjoy them... Afteralll, we all are different individuals and we like something because it appeals to us... There is no right and wrong in this...

Her strength is not in acting. She's charismatic, but she was never really acting or character driven. She's more success-driven and hence works harder to get into shape and her dance numbers b/c that's her forte. I don't think she could do either and if she wanted she's in such a good place right now that she could experiment. I hope Fitoor is different for her but so far everything she does is pretty similiar to have she always does--not really stretching her comfort zone when it comes to acting, but she doesn't mean she can't. She has so much box offie power that she could be in a female-centric movie and it won't hurt her commercially and might just help her critically.

Katrina's strengths and reason for her being a crowd puller are looking pretty/sexy and dancing. I doubt the audience would a have accepted her in either roles.

I don't think she could've done Mary KoM but FF she could've and it probably would've made more money.
Btw Deepika talked about other actress rejecting that role before she came on board, was Katrina one of em? I'm sure platter Queen was one 😆
