Can Bollywood do a movie like Brokeback Mountin ? - Page 2

Brokeback Mountain is one of my most favorite movies. Definitely, my most favorite romance. Superior to all the teeny bopper movies & saccharin sweet romances released every year.

I think BW is still not ready to deal with a serious subject. Some of things my friends (south asians) say, I can't belv. Especially in Canada. I have lots of gay/lesb friends/bosses. I have a neighbor, lied & came to live around here from a bad neighborhood. She puts her kids to private islamic school coz the kids teacher was gay. Meanwhile husband treats her worse than a maid and married for 5th time to a 16yr girl and . I can understand if u want to send to islamic school other reasons. Plus the whole fricking family has never worked a day in Canada, but lying to gov & living on welfare, plus bonus for each child (she gets close to $3000/mn) and pays $250 rent for 4 bedrom townhouse. The rent around here is $1600 per 1 bedroom.I have no idea why u want to come to a country where u can't respect views/laws/culture of that country

I personally don't have any problem with gay people.. I would watch a movie about gay issues..and I support gay marriage..

The reason I continue to take shot at kjo and sid Mal is
Kjo still in closet despite being gay.. And over the past few years he has shoved it down our throat by asking those questions from other actors and actresses in his show.. It is like if you Are gay congrats to you why ask other people in a family friendly show that if you are forced to have a gay encounter.. Who would it be??? Why would someone force anyone with a gun to have gay encounter..unless you are dealing with some sick crazy criminal who happen to be gay.. Or kjo himself lol hahsha

Sid Mal continue to tell us duk Bari kahani of how he got to where he is..in reality he got to where he is by sleeping with directors and producers..he didn't put the same hard work that nawazudeen sediqui and irfaan khan put to get to where they are.. He just slept with producers..

I understand where you are coming from. I myself crack KJo and other similar jokes. But I have no qualms about KJo not fully revealing his sexuality. One reason is India is not conducive to homosexuality. It is also illegal, something which high profile people don't want to risk openly. Finally it is to protect men whom he may have liasons with. Celebrities, but more importantly lesser known people. Some ordinary closeted man does not deserve to be hounded because paparazzi wants to find out who KJo's gay lover is.

What Sid did is speculation. We also don't know if it was a casting couch or a genuine relationships. There is also a fine line between he got roles because he was sleeping with KJo vs. he slept with KJo so that he could get roles. The male casting couch is no secret. There are rumors about many models and model actors indulging in it. There have been whispers that SRK also did it. It makes Sid no less or more that many actors and actresses before him who got roles this way. The only reason Sid is the butt of jokes is because his alleged relationship is gay with someone speculated to be a flaming homosexual.

I personally wouldn't watch it!
