Hindi version I think someone mentioned has around 100 screens and the English one has 800 screens. Pretty low numbers.

See,Even Amir Khan promoted Dhobi Ghat every where...Even with Ghajini and 3 idiots behind him,he didn't expect big business..and DG expectedly opened low and was a flop..

But he wanted to make that film..and I like it very much.

For box office the question is only about the distributors making money. Producers, actors and studios are usually covered anyway. Since this is a niche film with less screen counts the distributors might have not paid much either. So all are safe.

Yeah, I forgot the satellite right bit. So, Fox probably paid less than what I assumed.

I like how the fan of the undoubtedly #1 actress the one and the only one who have BO power are trying so hard to prove that DP has bo star power . Insecure much ;)
No trade analysts and no Deepika fan expected that it will do well in BO for cery obvious reasons ..

Any way.. Every one know that DP has star power and most people here who are arguing here admitted that during Ramleela days , so why the denial now 😆

The best part will be when these same people will give Kat credit for the expected big opening for Bang Bang abd will diss DP's for the expexted big opening of HNY..

Didn't really expect this film to be a success anyway. Its for a niche audience. I don't think the makers even expected it to be a hit.

The budget is low, so it'll probably recover its costs. Being Cyrus wasn't a hit and nor are other films simillar to FFF, why were ppl expecting this film to become a hit?

Queen should have been declared a superhit, 15 crore budget and made 60crore. Box Office India is strange.
