well if they can support of they are family and can support star kids even if they are talentless just coz they have played with them when they were kids...then whatever the reasons KJo and Sid have...I am om with it as a fan. I believe what Sid says about how KJo is like a father figure and u choose to believe the other set of articles.

And I don't think KJo or Sid are answerable to you...as to why Kjo is supporting him and all is his own thing.

I ma BEYOND Sid being gay and straight...I love my BABY and will keep doing it.❤️🤗

BTW there are many actors who aren't using their filmy influence to get each & every movie.

It's not about Sid being gay or straight. There are so many young strugglers who aspire to be in bollywood, they probably work-struggle way hard then sid must have & many of them are way more talented then Sid. What made kjo choose sid to be his 'son'. What kind of favors Sid is doing to Kjo for him to constantly sign Sid in his films. Hmmm...

Sidharth Malhotra to play a time traveller?

Karan Johar's student is certainly going places. Even as he prepares to take on Akshay Kumar in the boxing ring in 'Brothers', Karan Malhotra's 'Warriors' remake, and cloak himself as a vigilante superhero in Vikramaditya Motwane's Bhavesh Joshi, Sidharth Malhotra has netted another interesting film.

A love story with a twist, reportedly about a time-traveller, it will be directed by debutante Nitya Mehra and co-produced by Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani and Sidharth's mentor, KJo.

Confirming the news from Poland, Ritesh told Mirror, "Yes, Sidharth is on board and Karan too.Karan is a good friend and we've been talking about collaborating on a film for quite some time now." It was a conversation with the film's hero which eventually brought Karan onboard. "He heard about this film from Sid and asked us for the script. He loved it so much that he said he would be happy to get involved in any capacity. Farhan and I have never co-produced before, Karan is our first partner."

The romance which spans across timelines was offered to Aamir Khan too but as Mirror had earlier reported (March 7), the actor and the studio failed to agree on the remuneration and other commercial clauses.

Thereafter, there were talks of Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone being roped in but Ritesh points out, "There was a lot of speculation about the cast but this is the first time we are confirming a name.The leading lady should be locked in another four-five days and the film will roll by April 2015."

Will it release next year? "We're not sure," he says. "We already have three releases lined up in 2015, we don't know if we want a fourth one." Whenever it comes, this 'different' prem kahani will be timed right!

Kjo is backing SOTY kids. I see nothing wrong with that. He launched them and must be benifiting financially too. I hope they are getting paid well as they can't bargain with KJo.

About lobbying for those Khan movies: Every A-lister and wannabe A-lister did lobby for those projects: Priyanka, Deepika, Katrina, Kareena.. all of them. No wonder why Priyanka and Kareena kept on passing snide remarks after Katty bagged those.
The point is, wannabe A-listers never dare to say no to YRF projects. 'Hero A-lister ho, ya naa ho'. Shraddha would have said yes to Aurangzeb if she was one of the wannabe A-listers those days. She could have easily turned her role a bit bigger by massaging Atul Sabarwal's neck or sending shrimp curry to 'Malkin'.

Yes exactly...working with YRF to a large extent is still equivalent to having made it in a way. Everyone does their small films in the hopes of getting something bigger from them..if it works, YRF offers them more films...Sonam, Priyanka, Katrina have all done these films...etc. Plus YRF is unforgiving to people who reject their films and the smart ones would realize that right away.

About the 3 Khans, I'm not saying Kat is the only one who lobbied for them...or even knew that Khans would be in them...at most she would have known that SRK would soon do some big YRF film..she would have hoped to get one film with him. Rest she got lucky that Aamir and Salman came on board for the other films and she bagged those too.

Now that she has rejected YRF, they no longer seem interested in signing her.
