Sonam
Kapoor is all set to become the country's first Disney girl with
Khoobsurat, produced by Walt Disney Pictures in association with Anil
Kapoor Film Company.

For years, the international studio
has given us memorable characters like Cinderella, Ariel, Snow White and
many more. This time around, they offer another interesting character "
Mili " in this modern day fairy tale, which releases worldwide
September 19.
The film directed by Shashanka Ghosh stars
Sonam and Fawad Khan in lead roles and sees the actress playing Mili, a
quirky and adventure-loving physiotherapist practising in a house of
uptight royals.



Sonam says, "My sister, Rhea and I have been fans of their movies since
childhood. So it's a dream come true to be associated with them. What I
love about my character is that she is effervescent, compassionate,
brave and yet wonderfully quirky - these are attributes that Disney
characters, especially princesses, have represented over the years."
