Well comparisons are made on nearly everything these days. I'd rather have Varun play Lakhan in this than playing side role in SRK- Rohit's next. I know for sure Varun has signed one of 2. Coz he stated during HSKD promotions that he'd want to work with Rohit and many articles too came out that he might be in CKNG, Hum or RamLakhan remake. Rather see him getting more spotlight than none while working with SRK.

On topic - I am more excited for Badlapur than any of these Rohit's upcoming films, I mean it's better than seeing Rohit's pathetic direction

That's true..with Rohit on board hamming is a must..that's another difference with Arjun's Parma (he was very good in that), but it was directed by Habib..and Habib is anyday a better director than Rohit is.

Yep, Arjun might do better with other folks first...like Milan Luthria- Rajat duo. Learn dialoguebaazi properly first. Is Atul making any other film soon?

Exactly..Even if the actor playing Ram does a brilliant job, ppl will obviously notice Lakhan more cos its the meatier role & in general, ppl tend to pay more attention to flamboyant roles 😆 And none of them from the younger lot ( Ranveer, Ranbir, Varun, Sid etc.) will agree to play second fiddle to Arjun..And the fact that Arjun looks older than most of them makes things worse..I have no idea what KJo is doing 😆

Unless Abhishek plays Ram there is no chance Ranveer, Ranbir or Arun would be hired to play Lakhan.

Shouldn't have touched this movie, Kjo.

Arjun looks older than Ranbir?😆 It's one thing to say Ranbir won't play second fiddle but what angle does Arjun look older than Ranbir 😕

I said Arjun looks older than most of them 😆 Ranbir & Arjun look the same age to me..That comment was made cos the article says KJo intends to cast Varun ( or Sid) as Ram and both look younger than Arjun IMO..Should have worded it better 😆

Look this is the case (just my opinion)

Subhash Ghai is pretty much over. Like no major actors want to work under his production house. That Biopic on Sarabjit was refused by Sonakshi, Amitach & Sushant. That film with Deols never took off coz Sunny didnt have faith in SG. So this guy crying over the failure of Kaanchi and even now that Salman refused to charity and do his next film. He was desperate for somehow get something going which he could be credited for. He must have spoken to Kjo. While Kjo thinks money and probably took the right advantage and got Rohit on board to direct new version of potential Blockbuster

Anyway - thank god they didnt pick to remake Khalnayak. No one can pull off what Sanjay Dutt did
