Oh yeah? 😆 That's why Vidya couldn't save all her last releases which tanked/bombed at the BO. Bobby Jassos/SKSE/Ghanchakkar and her sasta item number in FKS.

Aishwarya is a superstar, Vidya is nowhere close to her in ANYTHING 😆

Aish might be a SuperDuperStar but her last films were all bombed at boxoffice.

There is no comparison between the two in Acting. It is just insane to call Aish better than Vidya Balon.

I'm talking about superstardom. BO never affected Aish or her superstardom. Her stardom and popularity is way beyond these BO numbers. She's still one of the most popular/well known indian star worldwide/internationally. 😊

I dare to call Ash better than Vidya in overall skills. There I said it..

Vidya is excellent in dramatic roles. In Kahani and TDP she was good. But she just sucked and I mean sucked in SKSE and Ganchakar. I was thinking Vidya could do no wrong and then she just basically was terrible, not a word I thought I would use with Vidya.

As for dancing, again terrible. Not just average or ok, but terrible.

Ash is a more complete package for BW. And let us not take away how versatile she is in regional film. No I am not referring to her terrible HW films, but her gems in Tamil and Bengali.

Ash is highly overrated and given credit for things she does not really deserve IMO, but acting wise I think she is severely underrated both for her talent and the breadth and depth of her work.

She is best in Dancing and looking good only...I enjoy her dancing alot.

when was the last time , Aish gave a HIT on her own without any big stars or banners, forget a 100crore movie..just a HIT. When she does that, we will talk😉

Ash sucked in all her HW films for me bar one. Provoked. You want to see her act, really act in a dramatic role I would suggest that. The film got terrible reviews, but Ash was almost universally praised and both by foreign and Indian critics. That is as good as a Kahani for me.

Agree with Devdas. But I found the whole film to be pretentious and glossy. Even SRK hams in it for me and he is a fave of mine. Do not agree with Raincoat or Choker Bali.

Jodhaa Akbar again, do not agree. Agree with Umrao Jaan and Guzarish.

You want to see Ash act, see a Manirathnam Tamil movie called Kandukondein KanduKondein where she more than held her own with strong and consistent performers like Tabu and Mammotty. It was also very early in her career. Another comedy (well sort of IMO) movie called Jeans in Tamil. It was nominated for India's entry to the foreign Oscars, so take of it what you will from that.

Vidya can do dramatic well. That is it and that too I will say Kahani was not award winning, Barfi was that year. PC was robbed.. Vidya is not consistent and has very weak skills in other areas, plus she is terrible when she is versatile. Ash has taken more risks and has less reward acting wise IMO.

Provoked, Jeans and a Tamil film only? Where is consistency?

I agree Aish has taken more risks but she rarely excelled in them...This is the reason she is not a favourite of any critic.

Rani, Vidya, Kareena, Madhuri, Sridevi and Tabu are favourite actresses of most of the critics.
