The first half of 2014 saw business drop compared to the first half of 2013 to the tune of 8% and no blockbuster film but that changed with Kick which emerged the biggest hit of the year by a distance and first blockbuster of 2014.
Now Singham Returns has emerged the second biggest hit of the year and although its a better all round picture then the first half business is still down in the first eight months of the year compared to the corresponding time last year. After six months it was 8% and now it is around 3%.
There are eleven films that have done well this lead by the only blockbuster of the year Kick and they are as follows.
