Response to Anurag's statement 😆 If you can work with other ppl, i can too 😆 On a serious note, what i was trying to say was that repeating directors is fine so long as he is doing good films..I don think he should reject these films just because he wants to work with new ppl..And yeah, he does sound depressed/ off here..Especially that part where he said he hasn't had a release since Besharam..And the part where he says he is not as busy as ppl think he is..That was such a give away..Effect of his schedule gone haywire 😆

Yup, nothing wrong with it. Most successful actors in BW had good such combos. He did films with Kashyap brothers as well for the first time. So not like he isn't working with new people.I think he wants to do more films per year(2 at least) and hence looking for new scripts. Could be new directors as well. After all, WUS was Ayan's first film.

Experimentation for the sake of experimentation is just a silly concept. So an actor should not repeat a director even though the script might be great just to work with an new director who or might not have have a great concept or project at that time? The same Tigmanshu Dhulia who made PST made a Bullet Raja. Sriram Raghavan made a Johnny Gaddar followed by Agent Vinod. Sujoy Ghose made a Kahani after that disaster called Aladin.

Ask Saif.. he can tell all the sorry tales of experimentation. So much so that he had to do a Humshakal.

Oh please...actors r d most insecure of all human beings...it must hurt real bad that he will not have a film releasing in 2014 and that d last time audiences watched him in d theatres, it was a debacle called Besharam! Doesn't matter at what figures d film opened but a film riding on showing hairy butt crack is not something most people would be proud of! 😆

What if Tamasha is a great film or Ranbir genuinely liked the script? Just for the sake of working with new directors, he should reject a film because its directed by someone he has already worked with? Tamasha might suck for all we know but i don get how we can form this conclusion beforehand that its useless 😆 He might have loved the script of JJ for all we know too..I don think he is doing these movies only because he worked with these directors before..They are reasonably good directors & Ranbir probably loved the script for all we know,..So i don get why he should reject them just for the sake of working with new ppl..I'd love to see him work with guys like Motwane but i honestly don mind so long as he does good films..

Na marriage would do nothing to a person like Ranbir..Its obvious the guy is cold & detached as hell..And Ranbir is no Rishi Kapoor that he needs someone accompanying him 24/7 to make sure he doesn't eff up 😆 Ayaan accompanies him cos the two are great friends and i assume love eachother's company..Not because he needs to control Ranbir..Common, the dude din even open his mouth when DP & Sonam went on a verbal rampage against him..He is always careful with what he says & knows exactly what to say where to promote himself/ his films 😆 Its Rishi who needs a babysitter cos the dude says shit in all the time & comes across as pompous & rude😆



well, it's not about forming conclusion whether movie will work or not. As a fan, i want him to do other director's movies... i was happy that he did abhinav kashyap besharam, it didn't work but hey!, i don't like actors by whether his film becomes a hit or flop. he was good in beshram too. he has nicely established as an actor and i am sick and tired of these romantic, coming of the age movies all the time... try different, try dangerous script, try something to keep my interest.
tamasha has got nothing new. you can see that from the shooting leaks...

he is a superb actor, and ppl talking about establishing as bankable actor, it's all bunch of nonsense. after tamasha, jagga-anurag's, after that ayan's next, after ayan's next, anurag basu's next again, after that, karan johar's next, after that again imtiaz next... what the fcuk!!
he needs to break it... not just say in press ''oh, bring stories, i will do it'' --- that's hypocrisy because it's only his talk

If that's the reason for this statement it's alright. But, if he really meant new people are not going to him... my point is why would they go sign a hero of their 2018 movie? Not all producer/directors are as obnoxious as K-Jo.

Na IMO, Besharam sucked..I'd rather he does 100 films with Ayaan than do shit like Besharam where he embarrassed himself just for the sake of experimenting & working with a new guy..And yes, i wouldn't jump to the conclusion that Tamasha has nothing new based on a few stills i saw..It might be a good film for all we know..I'l wait till i see the trailer to form an opinion but thats just me..And i don think Ranbir keeps doing 'coming of age' films..JJ, BV & Tamasha all belong to different genres..I just don see any issue with him repeating directors so long as he does good films..Like someone said, i wouldn't want Ranbir to reject a good film Basu offers to him just because he wants to work with a Motwane 😆

Only Imtiaz sticks to one genre(Romantic). Basu has done different genres like Barfi, Gangster and they are doing Kishore da bipic. Ayan is also trying fantasy genre.
